Bathroom cabinet
Description: Bespoke bathroom cabinet, constructed from bamboo and mirror.
This bathroom cabinet was commissioned by a professional in Norwich. The apartment was newly built and lacked essential storage space. The clients brief was to design and build a cabinet that would provide much needed storage space without looking too large, but would also compliment the modern furnshings and the existing bathroom products.
We used bamboo to construct the piece as that was the same material used on the soap dispenser, tray, and toothbrush holder. We also applied mirror on the doors to create a greater sense of space. This was all installed into the bathroom and finished with a highly durable, waterproof lacquer.

Coffee table
Description: Modern, curved coffee table built using American white oak veneers with toughened glass top.
This coffee table was designed to be unlike anything avilable in the shops. It had to be aesthetically pleasing from every angle, as it was being placed into a large living room.
We constructed the piece in american white oak to compliment the surround of a fireplace near to where it would sit. The piece was fitted with a 6mm toughened glass top, that had been laser cut to a shape that would compliment the design. All of the wood was treated with a highly durable lacquer, and then given several coats of wax.

Description: Modern book unit, constructed from oak. Featuring touch open drawers and heavy duty runners.
When we were approached to design this piece, the client already had quite a clear idea of what they would like, but not a complete solution. The brief we received gave us a clear idea on the style they were after, and stated its purpose was to store books. After developing the concept, we concluded the most efficient way to store the size of books our client had, would be to install two drawers on fully extending, heavy duty touch drawer runners.
This provided the client with a unit that fits perfectly into the space, and is extremely functional, which of course in turn provided us with another extremely satisfied customer.

Description: Contemporary console table, finished in durable satin black with toughened glass top.
The brief for this piece was to create a truly unique piece of art that would function as a console table in a large hallway. The client was not concerned about storage but more about the aesthetics of the piece. They specified it must have clean flowing lines but maintain a look of stability.
This piece was designed from photographs of the area by the client and communicated via phone calls and emails. Once completed we securely packed the table into a crate and had it delivered to the client.

Zest Square were commissioned to design and build a media unit that would house a DVD system and computer console, whilst masking the subwoofer and providing storage facilities.
This was constructed in oak veneered boards, finished with a stain, durable varnish, and then several coats of wax. The piece also featured touch operated drawers.
We were subsequently asked to build a set of two smaller tables to match the media unit. All three items featured a black inlay around the perimeter of the top. Upon delivery, we scribed the back of the media unit around the skirting board as requested by our client.

Description: Two units and matching sideboard, finished in primer ready for client to paint.
For this project, the client already had a very good interpretation of they desired. We took some measurements of the area, and produced some scale drawings, fitting their design into the area. The client requested that they were produced and fitted, but finished in a primer, ready to paint. As a follow on project, we were then commissioned to produce a matching, freestanding, sideboard.

Description: We were asked to design this lamp table to sit between two armchairs. The brief was that the piece had to match existing furniture from a range that had been discontinued. We took detailed measurements and patterns of the detailing on the existing pieces and factored them into the design. We also colour matched the piece by borrowing an existing door and doing some trial finishes. The piece featured a drawer to house items that need to be easily accessed.
