The Posturemax® 200 High Back Operator chair with multi-adjustable neck support and headrest offers a unique combination of features and is ergonomically designed to provide total body support and provide maximum levels of comfort to extra large users  These features help to avoid the posture and back problems often caused by poorly designed seating. In addition to the generous proportions of this chair you can opt for an even larger seat if required.
It is structurally suitable for 24 hour (tested to BS5459/200kg) and multi-user situations which makes it extremely strong and is structurally guaranteed for 5 years for 24 hour use.
The standard chair without arms offers the following features, to which can be added a choice of arms, chrome base and variable contact back:
REFLEXION heat reactive seat and back foam. Widely used in the care sector, this foam is built in layers and reacts to natural body heat to provide comfort, stability and the distribution of weight to avoid the build up of pressure points
Ratchet back height adjustment to easily position the back rest
Inflatable lumbar support - you have full control of the air cell within the back which is operated while seated by a hand bulb. The Variable Contact Back is available for those requiring more adjustable support (see options below)
A Synchro/Plus seat mechanism with independent seat tilt adjustment which allows the seat and back to work together and also allows the back to be locked in one position or free float to support your back.
Multi-adjustable neck and head support to provide extra support to the upper body
Seat slide to accomodate taller or larger users (Adds versatility where the chair is to be used in a multi-user situation)
Black base fitted as standard. A chrome base is available as an option.

With high specification standard features, the additional options allow you to tailor your chair more particularly to your individual needs.
Standard features:
Memory Foam as standard in all cushioned areas of the chair to evenly distribute body weight and assist with blood flow and pressure points.
Coccyx Relief – a cut out section at the rear of the seat pad to provide pressure relief for the coccyx. This caters for coccyx problems which are the cause of 25% of bad backs
Pelvic Module – a carefully moulded cushion which cradles the pelvis in the neutral position. This is available in 3 sizes to cater for a wide range of shapes and sizes. To order the correct module, measure around the body over the hip bones and refer to the following sizes. (Small: less than 36inches; Medium: 36 – 44 inches; Large: over 44 inches). The module is constructed of conventional foam and clips onto the chair.
